Oskar Air Products Develop Booths for WEC Welding Training CenterOskar worked closely with WEC (a subsidiary of Westinghouse) to design welding booths for their welding school at a simulated nuclear facility. The latest installation consisted of 48 Welding Booths (WB-10), 3 Dust Collectors (SDC-25x2-40) and several plasma and downdraft tables. The initial Welding Booth (WB-10), a 5’x5’ work area, was sent to the customer along with an Oskar Representative to make all changes needed to provide the proper fit and extraction needed. The WB-10 Welding Booths provide each welder with 1,000 CFM, internal adjustable slots to adjust airflow, lights, and stands to hold welding equipment. The 48 booths are ducted to 3 exterior located dust collectors. The dust collectors utilize polyester spun bond cartridges (re-usable), reverse jet pulse cleaning, timer functions and UL approved control panels. All the equipment is manufactured from heavy gauge steel and powder coated. Westinghouse To Open New Nuclear Welding Training Centers (Nuclearstreet.com) |
