The International Brotherhood of Boilermakers installed a training facility for Local Lodge 11 Located in Colstrip, MT. The training facility consists of 2 – 40’ containers that have been modified to house 5 – WB-5x5 Welding Booths. The Welding booths have a slotted backdraft wall and updraft hood with dual exhaust features to maximize fume and smoke capture. The Welding Booths are designed for 1,000 CFM. With the limited space and location of the training facility the most economical means to exhaust the booths was to run duct on the outside of the containers to a central motor and fan. The training facility was designed to be a semi-permanent fixture at the current location.
